Into Legal World has announced the launch of its Professional Certificate in Trademark, Patent & Copyright Prosecution, Opposition & Enforcement, a specialized programme designed to equip law students, young advocates, and legal professionals with practical intellectual property (IP) law skills.
The course is scheduled to commence on 15 September 2026 and will be conducted through live weekend classes. The curriculum covers the complete lifecycle of intellectual property rights in India, including trademark prosecution and registration, patent filing and prosecution, copyright registration, opposition proceedings, rectification remedies, infringement actions, enforcement strategies, licensing, assignment, and commercialization.
One of the key highlights of the programme is its practitioner-led teaching model. Faculty members include experienced professionals from leading law firms such as Anand and Anand and Khaitan & Co., bringing practical insights into trademark oppositions, patent prosecution, copyright enforcement, and litigation strategy.
The course comprises eight modules covering foundational IP law, registration procedures, opposition and appellate remedies, enforcement mechanisms, licensing, and practice development. It also includes a dedicated segment focused on freelancing opportunities and practice-building for aspiring IP professionals.
The organisers state that the programme aims to provide participants with hands-on exposure to drafting responses to examination reports, preparing opposition notices, understanding enforcement actions, and navigating registration procedures before Indian IP authorities.
